November News

By Annaliese and Clara (students)

We have started the school year as third graders.  We can’t wait till we can lead circle and lunch.  We like being third graders because we get to make copies and do fun things.  We love being in school and teachers, too.  We want a pet in our classroom and we want it to be a rat or a toad or a mouse.  This is going to be a fun and exciting year.

We went raspberry picking.  Lower Elementary One and Two picked about 3,000,000,000 raspberries.  It was lots of fun.  We ate most of the raspberries at the raspberry farm.  Some kids picked yellow ones.

We had a lesson called “God With No Hands.”  It was about God creating the world with no hands, just words.  We learned the three States of Matter.  Lower Elementary One had experiments about “God With No Hands.”

The whole school had fun going to the Fall Festival.  Every classroom made a scarecrow.  Ours had candy all over it.  Some people took candy from our scarecrow.  Forty pieces were gone.
