Working with the students in our community practically translates to everyday being filled with peace and calm as these individuals fundamentally learn about daily life. Our classroom infuses each day with rediscovering the simple joy and wonder around us as we lay the groundwork for independent thinking and careful stewardship of our community and our world.
While Karen enjoys knitting, reading, boating, gardening, and horseback riding, her favorite pastime by far is spending time with her two daughters – the most amazing people she knows!
