Sep 07th : 1st Day of School, PP Orientation Week

Today is the first day of the 2010-11 school year!
Infants, Toddlers and Middle School have a regular day.
Elementary has a half-day (classes dismiss at 11:45am)
PrePrimary has half-days all week. The PrePrimary Orientation Week is as follows:
•Returning 2009-2010 students are welcome to attend class from 8:30–11:30am and attend our Before- and Aftercare programs, 7:30–8:45am and 11:30am–6:00pm.
•Students new to GLTW’s PrePrimary program who have attended SIX consecutive weeks of our Summer Camp program are invited to use our Before- and Aftercare services just as our returning PrePrimary students.
•Students new to GLTW who have NOT attended six consecutive weeks of our Summer Camp program will only attend the school portion of the day during Orientation Week, from 8:30–11:30am. This group of new students will not be in a position to use our Before- or Aftercare programs, at any point, during Orientation Week.
•We have eliminated the one-and-a-half-hour per day orientation and have extended it to a normal half-day at GLTW. However, teachers will use their discretion should a new student need a reduced schedule to ease their transition into the classroom.

Sep 07th : PTSA Meet and Greet

8:45 - 11:30 am, Tuesday through Friday.
Come for refreshments and conversation!

Sep 10th : Ice Cream Social

Get to know other GLTW families at a fun Ice Cream Social, beginning at 6:30pm.

Sep 10th : Elementary Parent Orientation

Lower and Upper Elementary classes will hold their Parent Orientation Night on Friday September 10th, 5:00 - 6:15 pm.

Sep 16th : TENTATIVE - Upper El goes to HNC

The Upper Elementary class will attend a team-building over-night at Howell Nature Center. They will depart GLTW 9am Thursday, Septemer 16th, and return by 3pm Friday, September 17th.

Sep 30th : Parent Education Night 6:30 pm

Parent Education Night for ALL levels. Please dress casual and comfortable. Complimentary child care available for currently enrolled students with advanced sign up. 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the classrooms.

Oct 02nd : Fall Festival 3-6pm

The Fall Festival will be at the school on Saturday, October 2nd, 3-6 pm. (This is a family event; no child care will be offered.)

Oct 12th : School Picture Day

All students are photographed, from infants through Middle School, even if you choose to not purchase a portrait package.
Order forms will be sent home in advance.
